Responsible for assisting in the management of specific projects and assigned tasks through the planning, pre-acquisition, acquisition, construction and ! post-construction phases of the project(s) which may include all or any portion of the responsibilities below.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting in the acquisition of rights of way for pipeline projects including infrastructure projects, well connects, and custody delivery points.
Request and preparation of limited title certificates from abstractors; obtaining permission to survey from owners and tenants; identification of environmental issues for proposed routes; identification of necessary agency/entity permits and generation of plats, maps and data required to acquire ROW.
Preparation and filing of all permit applications required by affected agencies/entities.
Assist in establishing the project route, estimation of right of way costs for the selected route and alternates and establishing acquisition time lines.
Preparation of condemnation file and coordination with attorney(s). Establishment of right of way values (appr! aisals), acquisition negotiations and determination of methods! of payment.
Request payment for all right of way as agreed to, according to procedure. Documentation of all off right of way damages incurred during construction and resolution of all off right of way damages with contractor(s) and owners/tenants.
Must have a strong customer focus to ensure project meets operational requirements.
Process all requests for encroachment from third parties upon ACMP right of way.
Perform due diligence on third party pipe lines or gathering systems and advise A&D and or B&D departments as to right of way value and discovered gaps in coverage.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with Access Midstream’s Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Requirements:
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, c! lients, and other external contacts.
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications. Able to learn company specific applications.
Ability to work independently and/or coordinate the activities of individuals during the course of land, right of way, or permit acquisitions pertinent to one or more projects as assigned.
Highest level of integrity and professionalism.
Education & Work Experience Required
Minimum Requirements:
2-3 years of acquisition and negotiation experience, preferably related to oil and gas transportation by pipeline
Undergraduate degree or equal combination of education and experience
