What we’re looking for:

As the proud parents of multiple award-winning publications, we are looking to expand our sales team with passionate and motivated people. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Assistant to join our sales team. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for identifying and sourcing potential sales leads through various channels and nurturing them until they are ready to be handed over to the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential sales leads through various sources such as LinkedIn, job boards, company websites, and other online platforms
  • Qualify leads by gathering information such as company size, location, and industry to determine fit with the sales team's target market
  • Reach out to potential leads through email and phone to introduce the company and its products/services
  • Nurture leads through regular follow-up and relationship-building activities until they are ready to be handed over to the sales team
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize and prioritize leads and to determine the best approach for each individual lead
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and interactions in the CRM system
  • Stay current on industry tech trends and advancements in lead sourcing techniques

Requirements:

  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Zoom Info and LinkedIn
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets
  • Has their own working laptop
