The 29th Judicial Circuit is accepting applications for the position of Juvenile Drug Court Probation Officer. Will work u! nder the direct supervision of the Juvenile Drug Court Judge, the Chief Probation Officer and the Deputy Director for Drug Courts and will also work cooperatively with specialized probation staff, judicial staff, state and local agencies, and non-governmental entities. A BA or MA in counseling, social work, criminal justice, or corrections is required. Experience in working with adolescents and families and criminal justice and community partnership agencies/organizations is preferred. Knowledge of adolescent substance abuse, adolescent development, and local, statewide and national drug trends is also desired. Non-traditional work hours may be required. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and must pass a NCIC/CIB background check, a drug screen, and a written/oral psychological evaluation.
