Successfully completes required financial consultant training programs; obtains appropriate licenses within requi! red timeframes; and seeks business through customers and potential customers in order to build a business.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospects/networks, generates, and acquires new assets and business.
Conducts sales/marketing campaigns and client presentations to generate new business.
Develops and maintains client relationships.
Reviews client holdings, assesses and identifies client needs, researches information, and analyzes options.
Conducts client reviews and assists clients with meeting their financial needs and investment and/or financial planning goals.
Recommends products, services, and investment/wealth management strategies.
Interacts and collaborates with clients' attorneys, certified public accountants, financial planners, and other wealth management professionals regarding client accounts, if applicable.
Follows through on client commitments, sales, and business developmen! t.
Meets minimum performance (production/revenue, ass! et gathering, and activity) goals.
Represents the firm within the local community.
Provides guidance to registered and non-registered Sales Assistants/Client Service Associates supporting the Financial Consultant's book of business.
Alerts management of legal, regulatory, and policy/procedural violations.
Prepares business plan and updates it annually.

Brokerage industry, trading operations, retail brokerage products, and client relations.
Investment, financial planning, and financial reporting processes and concepts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
College degree required. MBA and/or CPA preferable. Three (3) years prior securities industry and/or sales experience. Customer service experience.
Obtainment of FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 7 license within first 3 months of hire.
Obtainment of Series 66 (or equivalent) FINRA license and applicable insurance licenses within 120 days of hire and applicable insurance licenses within 6 months of hire.
Life, accident, & health insurance licenses (if applicable).
