Orrick's Global Op! eration Center in Wheeling, WV has an excellent opportunity for a 2 Technology Internship positions.
- Project Management Office : Assists with the tracking and management of various IT projects. Working with other members of the PMO as well as our various IT teams, the IT PM intern will be exposed to real-world projects and issues. Furthermore, they will receive hands-on experience with enterprise class project management solutions. In addition, there will be an expectation that the PM intern will complete various on-line educational courses offered by Orrick. These courses will be provided at no cost to the intern and will be from a registered education provider for the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Network Operating Center: Responsibilities include assisting with documentation, server builds, racking and cabling, organization of equipment and failed hardware drive inventory. Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and administers local & remot! e server systems and software necessary to support the busines! s operations of the firm.
- Excellent computer/Internet skills, with proficiency in MS Office 2007 and Windows 7.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multitask assignments, and to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
- Junior or Senior status in college with a GPA of 3.2 or above.
