The succesful candidate will perform duties assigned by the legal division director, including handling issues and litigati! on in all areas of highways law including the preparation and trying of cases in eminent domain proceedings. Will prepare legal documents such as contracts, brief, and opinions. This job will be based in Division of Highways district 2 offices in Huntington.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training: Admission to the West Virginia State Bar.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in the practice of law. Related legal experience and knowledge of the hearing examination process very helpful.
Substitution: One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment as an attorne! y with the agency to which assigned shall be considered the equivalent of two years of experience.
