Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent education
2. Two or more years of experience in Mortgage Lending or equivalent
experience
3. Must possess good math skills
4. Position requires a detail-oriented person
5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal - communicates in a
tactful, helpful manner
6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer software applications such as MS
Office products with emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the preparation of accurate closing instructions that are
sent to the attorneys.
2. Answer inquiries from and provide support to Branch offices, other Mortgage
Loan Administration personnel, attorneys and customers regarding mortgage loan
instructions and documen! tation.
3. Collect and compile information for prepar! ation of various closing reports as
directed by manager.
4. Prepare accurate general ledger debit tickets for each proceeds check using
the correct account number for marketable, unmarketable, Adjustable Rate
Mortgage (ARM) and convertible ARM loans.
5. Provide Federal Truth-in-Lending information accurately in order to comply
with all Federal Regulations.
6. Input loan proceeds information on the mortgage loan servicing system for
proper control of closing funds.
7. Identify, analyze and resolve closing problems independently and
accurately.
8. Make recommendations to the immediate manager on improvements of changes to
any procedures pertinent to the performance of the closing area and assist
manager with analyzing and implementing changes made in the area.
9. Perform other clerical duties as necessary: copying material, typing,
distributing mail and filing.
