Summary Description

CLDD agent is responsible for processing a loan from beginning to end. These responsibilities are preparing the commercial loan documents, booking new and renewal loans, entering collateral tracking information. Other responsibilities are being responsible for quality control review on every loan file that is boarded or processed, researching and completing post-booking review findings. Also, the agent is responsible for auditing collateral files to identify any exceptions prior to loan renewals. The agent is responsible for requesting any pre-closing documents to ensure the bank is within compliance guide lines and other bank regulations.

Essential Functions

• Review approved commercial loans to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing

• Prepare loan documents for new and renewal loans using Laser Pro software

• Ensure compliance with approval conditions and policy requirements

• Work directly with Lenders in identifying and resolving critical perfection issues and in assisting with process recommendations prior to boarding the loan to the core system

• Perform loan boarding processes to core system

• Process loan transactions on new commercial loans (payments, payoffs and reversals) needed at time of booking or renewal

• Process all commercial renewals, modifications and extensions

• Assist with quality control for data integrity on all newly booked loans and renewals processed

• Identify and enter collateral tracking information in core system at time of booking

• Identify trailing/exception documents(recorded information such as book/page, UCC # etc..) and enter information to clear exceptions in the core system

• Process GL exception items including out of balance transactions

• Answer routine telephone and e-mail inquiries from loan officers, appraisers, attorneys etc.

• Initi ate requests for title reports, UCC searches, Corporate verifications, surveys, the title insurance and flood determination certificates

• Update tracking and maintenance databases

• Review final title reports and title policies for accuracy

• Request and audits collateral loan files in preparation for loan renewals

• Identify and review cross-collateralization information

• Assist in review of all closing documentation

• Assist in distributing closing packages within area

Position Requirements

• High school diploma

• 2 years (commercial) loan experience preferred

• General knowledge of lending regulations

• Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

• Typically the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items in the course of the work
