Data Warehouse Engineer
Data Warehouse Architect / Engineer
Incumbent's primary responsibility is to expand and maintain the data warehouse supporting the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) with statistical and detail data from the 94 district offices. Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher are the tools used on this project. Incumbent will be a hands-on data warehouse engineer. Incumbent should have at least five years experience architec! ting Data Warehouse solutions using an Extract, Transform, and! Load (ETL) tool such as ODI, Informatica, IBM DataStage, or Business Objects Data Integrator. Incumbent should have hands on experience with an enterprise BI reporting tool such as OBIEE, Cognos, or Business Objects. Incumbent will lead the data warehouse team, which includes one other data warehouse engineer. Incumbent will serve as the primary interface with the infrastructure support team and with the data warehouse functional user group. Experience configuring BI tools on Windows/Linux servers is desired but not required. Incumbent will provide database architecture advice (not a major portion of the job responsibilities) to a J2EE software development team that is implementing and maintaining a case management system supporting U.S. attorneys.
Required to have 5+ years of the following:
Full lifecycle experience architecting Data Warehouse solutions using an Extract, Translation, Load (ETL) tool such as Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, IBM Data! Stage, or Business Objects Data Integrator.
Full lifecycle experience architecting Enterprise Reporting solutions using Business Intelligence (BI) tool such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Cognos, or Business Objects.
Full lifecycle experience architecting Online Transaction Processing Systems (OLTP) systems.
Nice to Have:
Experience leading data warehouse teams.
Knowledge of the SharePoint architecture
Knowledge of mobile technologies: HTML5, Objective C, Java for Android
