The Legal Coordinator performs a variety of administrative duties to support the Assistant General Counsel and Real Estate Attorney, as needed. Records subordination and non-disturbance agreements and memorandum of lease documents. Assists in preparing correspondence, lease summaries, reports and other legal documents, prepares site plans, provides administrative support, including phone coverage, file maintenance, managing database used to track matters and projects, managing calendars and making travel arrangements.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Support Assistant General Cou! nsels and Real Estate Attorney in day to day responsibilities ! including word processing, drafting correspondence, meeting planning, making travel arrangements.
Prepare and negotiate SNDAs. Record SNDAs and Memorandum of Lease.
Prepare lease summaries.
Prepare landlord correspondence.
Prepare and negotiate amendments.
Prepare and update reports (project tracking updates, abstracting, tracking and letters).
Prepare site plans.
Minimum 5 to 7 years law firm and/or in-house corporate legal experience supporting multiple attorneys is required.
Retail real estate experience preferred.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree a plus
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel Word and PowerPoint)
Experience with Access is preferred.
Paralegal certification a plus.
