 The Branch Manager develops, manages and expands sales, repair & rebuild operations, monitors inventory, controls expenses and maximizes branch profits. 
 Essential Functions 
 Manage the productivity and job duties of branch employees 
 Evaluate and develop market by reviewing customers, equipment, pricing and competition 
 Set performance guidelines fo!   r inspection compliance and track improvements 
 Active!   ly monitor safety and regulatory compliance 
 Insure that all equipment meets the company quality standards and specific customer applications 
 Monitor inventory reconciliations and periodically check branch counts to insure accurate assessment of fleet 
 Maintain an excellent customer service program with on time deliveries and timely handling of customer calls and follow - up 
 Routinely review profitability statements and develop an action plan where necessary 
 Routinely review off rent reports to determine plan for increased rentals 
 Insure that all branch employees are trained in the appropriate programs: product awareness, safety, customer applications, business systems, etc. 
 Conduct Safety meetings and insure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations and DOT compliance 
 Review sales techniques and cold calling programs 
 Maintaining contact and relationships with vendors 
 Accompan!   y sales employeeâs on sales calls 
 Outline sales calls objectives and timing for completion to ensure employeeâs meeting minimum standards 
 Develop revenue per employee and other quantitative tools to insure revenue generation is consistent with Company objectives

 Working Conditions 
 Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard and shop locations 
 Working on uneven ground and near various types of equipment in all types of weather 
 Working underneath equipment Exposure to dust and noise 
 Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary

 Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of the Branch 
 Responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing 
 Ability to take full accountability for day to day business operations of a Branch 
 Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing 
 Ability to execute project plans for growth, operational improvements, sales and marketing 
 Good presentation skills for training and development of employees 
 Supervisory experience and knowledge of employment practices 
 Ability to drive at licensing level deemed necessary for branch 
 Education:
 Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent experience 
 Experience & Other:
 5 yearsâ experience 
 Rental/industrial sales experience preferred !   
 Commercial Driverâs license helpful
