The Position:
The
Commercial Loan Officer
is responsible to
develop new business, along with maintaining close relationships with their book of business
. Specifically the position responsibilities include:
Calling on companies with annual sales up to $25m
Cold calling and prospecting with non-bank clients to attract new commercial relationships to the bank
Cultivating and maintaining relationships with numerous sources of new business, including company officials, attorneys, accountants and social acquaintances
Producing new C& and CREI loans with sweet spot between $800k and $2m, along with deposits and fee generation
Require! d Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the fo! llowing experience and abilities:
5+ years experience building profitable relationships with small to mid-size businesses, ideally with a strong network of COI in the Morgantown market
Must be comfortable developing C&I, owner occupied and commercial real estate loans, along with gaining corresponding deposits
Must be hard-working, goal-oriented, highly productive, and passionate about business development
Ability to successfully manage a portfolio
Strong analytical skills and a high level of business acumen,
Good written/verbal communication and organizational skills,
Formal credit training a plus
