As a Medical Malpractice Paralegal, your responsibilities would include:
Analyzing and summarizing medical records
Preparing medical chronologies for court dates and managing a large case load
Tracking details of multiple cases and adapting quickly to changing deadlines
Maintaining electronic and paper files
Working with attorneys as cases develop and new cases come in
Requirements for this position include:
4 year degree from and accredited college or Un! iversity
Paralegal certificate from and accredited organiz! ation
Previous law firm experience (2-3 years)
Familiarity with the litigation process
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to document and present information to attorneys
Proficiencies in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
