We need two Engineering Techs to work in the field in Northern and Southern West Virginia
The Sche! dule is 4 days on, 3 days off; weekends may be a possibility at times.
This is a field position.
Peloton experience would be a huge plus, but is not necessary.
The main function of this role will be to keep up with all the costs associated with the well work.
Experience:
Working on files and retrieving engineering data
Assisting in preparation of daily, monthly reports
Preparing and assisting with bid packages, contracts and filing of service agreements.
Generating and compiling information required for government regulatory compliance. Tracking operated AFE, field and booked costs with financial operating systems.
Entering operated and non-operated data into database
Preparing and updating phone list for active rigs, emergency contacts and weekend duty Generating information for rig bonus
Preparing well plan books for engineers
Compiling reports detailing drilling activity, production and production rates
Prep! aring support documentation for portfolio presentations
Pr! oviding routine administrative and technical support to land and/or engineering personnel.
Loading, entering, verifying, manipulating, analyzing and reporting data related to well logs and exploration activity.
Need the ability to apply analytical & mathematical skills
Good communication skills
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Power Point Knowledge of specific software systems, terminology and procedures
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
Two or more years work experience required or College degree with one year oil & gas experience
