We currently have an excellent opportunity in our Global Operations Center in Wheeling, WV for an International Compliance Analyst .
International Compliance Analyst manages corporate compliance, subsidiary maintenance, incorporation, dissolution and general corporate housekeeping matters for multinational clients. This position requires excellent project management skills, the ability to manage local outside counsel as well as good knowledge of international corporate requirements and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage subsidiary incorporation, maintenance, dissolution and other corporate
- Prepare corporate documents such as board resolutions, powers of attorney, minutes, etc.
- Manage local outside counsel budget and deadlines for preparation of compliance documents, filings, legalizations, etc.
- Monitor, analyze and evaluate corporate governance developments, trends and practices.
- Responsible for validating client compliance changes within web-based compliance platform.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound business judgment.
- Responsible for review and initial approval of local outside counsel invoices.
- 4 â€" year BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience required, paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferred. JD degree a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking/problem solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of corporate law and in-house/law firm experience is essential.
- Excellent communications skills (written, verbal and relationship building).
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize complex and concurrent projects adapting to changing priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with legal database systems (e.g., Two-Step, ICSA, CT or Bridgeway) a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications required.
