For detail informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. 07/20/2012 - Legal Secretary needed for Morgantown law firm. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate and rate of pay will be $12-$15 per hour, based on experience. Excellent communication, typing and computer skills required (with advanced experience in Microsoft Word). Our ideal candidate will have prior legal secretarial experience and have a college degree. All applicants should view this position as a profession and career. Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be able to work under pressure, prioritize, take direction and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Duties include: supporting attorneys and paralegals by preparing legal documents, calendaring, opening and closing files, preparing engagement letters, filing documents and related tasks. Our ideal candidate will have sound grammar, vocabulary and proofreading skills and the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others.
