Baldwin & Lyons is seeking a property and casualty Subrogation Examiner experienced in the handling of personal and commercial claims. This individual will evaluate claim files for subrogation potential, identify any additional investigation required, present the subrogation demand, negotiate the settlement of claims, work with established vendors such as attorneys and collection firms, assist with the development of new vendors, and research state laws or changes in the laws regarding subrogation.
The expectations of the Subrogation Examiner is to aggressively, efficiently and fairly ! pursue maximum recovery from at-fault third parties or their i! nsurance carries on commercial auto, non-standard and workers’ compensation claims.
