COURT CLERK
The City of Martinsburg is accepting applications for full-time Municipal Court Clerk. Graduation from high scho! ol or GED equivalent with course work in typing and/or
general office practices; and two (2) years prior work experience in clerical, secretarial, paralegal or administrative work; or any equivalent combinations of education and
experience. The successful applicant will assist in
administering criminal proceedings and docketing, assist in the coordination of court matters with the Municipal Judge, Chief Magistrate, defendants, defense counsel, City prosecutor, police department, jail and other levels of the criminal
justice administration system, respond to telephone, personal and written inquiries, schedule court hearings, prepare court dockets and files, prepare correspondence and maintain records and perform other related duties as required. Computer experience required to learn, utilize and maintain Municipal Court software system. Pay Grade 7
with a wage of $23,390 with excellent benefits.
