Asset Based Lending Sr. Portfolio Specialist-Dallas, TX
The AB (Asset-Based) Sr. Portfolio Specialist manages a portfolio of leveraged loans in a variety of industries collateralized primarily by accounts receivable and inventory. The AB Sr. Portfolio Specialist is responsible for actively monitoring financial and collateral t! rends and recommending appropriate action. Responsibilities also include reviewing requests for loan modifications, analyzing financial performance, negotiating terms, drafting proposals, reviewing documents, and preparing recommendations for approval. The AB Sr. Portfolio Specialist is an active member of the client team interfacing directly with the client, participates in building the client relationship, cross-selling an array of bank products, and will be held accountable for achieving financial and risk management goals. Generally capable of handling syndicated credits and the most sensitive accounts.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum of 7 years experience in asset-based lending or comparable commercial banking experience
Experience in banking/ financing cyclical and /or leveraged middle market and above sized businesses
Must have strong asset-based lending or commercial credit and collateral skills, with loan workout and/ or bankruptcy experience a positive
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's or Masters degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration.
Sound financial statement analytical skills

Proactive/confident communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with senior management, clients, attorneys, etc.
