MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training: Admission to the West Virginia State Bar.
Experience: Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in the practice of law The successful candidate should have specific knowledge of statutes, rules, procedures and court opinions relating to workers' compensation, as well as legislative procedures, bill preparation and government operations.
Substitution: One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment as an attorney with the Office of the Insurance Commissioner shall be considered the equivalent of two years of experience.
