$10.00 per hour
20-25 hours per week
- Solution Architecture/Network Operations: Assists to help ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems and networks that support Orrick's core functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, and supporting servers, software, hardware, systems, and storage.
- Network Engineering: Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and administers local & remote server systems and software necessary to support the business operations of the firm.
- Service Desk: Provide front line telephone support to attorneys and staff on all firm computer systems (hardware and software) and to work on special projects as needed.
- Applications Engineering: Provide assistance with the technical support of all desktop applications.
- Web Engineering: Interact with Web Engineering team to provide user interface design, content management and basic programming for the Orrick portal and other web based applications. Manage entire application lifecycle from programming, testing, documentation, and release with constant supervision.
- Excellent computer/Internet skills, with proficiency in MS Office 2007 and Windows 7.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multitask assignments, and to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
- Junior or Senior status in college with a GPA of 3.2 or above.
