VA experience is not required but preferred.
A VA C-File review specialist’s primary responsibility is to prepare client cases for legal hearings by reviewing case file information and recommending options abou t case file material inclusion. Job duties include making accurate written recommendations regarding case file facts. The job incumbent must be dependable, accountable, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure all case files are reviewed appropriately.
- Responsible for reviewing claims files (C-Files) for purposes of filing new VA claims, appeals, or claim withdrawals.
- Medical field experience - nursing, medical assisting, etc. helps.
