JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Collections Man! ager would be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the collection floor in a collection law firm. The collection floor consists of 25 collectors working pre-suit and post suit matters. Clients include national banks, debt buying entities and networks. Manager must possess significant experience in collections and the ability to utilize strategies and methodologies for the purpose of maximizing collections and efficiencies. Candidate must possess industry experience relating to audit, compliance, best practices and dialer management. Specific duties will include collector training, call monitoring, appropriate workload allocation, establishment of collector performance standards, including review and analysis of collector performance, and compliance. The key responsibility of this position is to ensure that direct reports and agents provide quality service to our consumers along with achieving company objectives for the collection of debts owed. Manager will! work closely with legal staff, attorneys, and other managers of the fi! rm. This position reports directly to the partners of the Firm.

d. Initiates collector call monitoring and dialer management to ensure quality service is being provided and we are complying with regulations.
e. Motivates and develops collectors with innovative recognition techniques to ensure individual, client and firm goals are met.
f. Works with client support to ensure adherence to client protocol and SOP.
g. Monitors skip tracing and asset tracing vendors and procedures. Regularly evaluates results and effectiveness of various vendors and seeks out new vendors periodically.
h. Reviewing and managing collector performance including call penetration and collection results, broken dow! n by batch, client, and within allotted time frames. Establishes perfor! mance measurement metrics for team members and conducts periodic performance evaluations based upon those metrics
i. Administers scheduling, attendance monitoring and collector bonus submission.

2. Additional Responsibilities:
a. Maintains current knowledge of local, state and federal laws including, but not limited to FDCPA, FCRA, etc.
b. Developing sound understanding of client guidelines and protocol.
c. Implements and reviews collection floor policies and procedures and ensures compliance by all team members.

1. Undergraduate Degree
2. 3-5 years experience as a collection manager in a legal collection law firm, Bank or other financial institution, or a national consumer collection agency. Basic knowledge of legal collection procedures common in Indiana, Kentucky, and/or Ohio.
3. Prior experience ! in a call center environment, with emphasis on pre-suit and front-end collections
4. Strong Computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. REQUIREMENTS:

8. Dependability and regular atten! dance, with a willingness to work more than 40 hours per week if needed. Our collectors work from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday â€" Friday and Saturdays, so the candidate must be available to work some evenings and weekends.

10. Candidate must successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
