Global Science & Technology, Inc., a fast growing high technology firm, is in need of several IT System Analyst Trainers who will condu! ct training for new and existing employees of a large legal origination on a new judicial system. The trainers will begin by learning the new system and become a member of the project development team in support of the roll out effort to the field operations.

DUTIES

PRIMARY DUTIES

Candidates must demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills with the required experience utilizing the prepared course material, facilitates presentation of the materials when training. Follows up on effectiveness of program materials to review appropriateness relative to the course materials. Provides quality assurance for the Information Technology Department on training activity, system modifications and corrective actions. Maintains a working knowledge of Information Systems Department's operations procedures. The candidate will interface with a diverse range of colleagues from technology, legal and the project management team.

The position of the IT ! Systems Analyst Trainer responsibilities which include but not! be limited to following training activities:

  • Conduct application software training for new and existing providers, legal professionals and/or support staff
  • Develop and maintain training material that includes departmental processes, procedures and/or workflows
  • Develop competency tools for the new application software system
  • Coordinate, schedule and communicate standard and ad-hoc training classes
  • Analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
  • Analysis of moderately complex business and information systems environments
  • Participates in project meetings which will include, conduct project training; including the documentation of departmental workflows and developing the training approach
  • Acts as liaison between systems software development staff, management and system end users
  • Prepare and conduct executive leve! l presentations for application software systems
  • The analyst will participate in user acceptance testing, gather business requirements, providing tier 2 issue resolution
  • Conduct training services and support to the field operations requiring working out of the local office for periods of 2 to 3 weeks
  • Some knowledge and working of the legal system, a worked in lawyer firm or trained as a legal assistance a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be a Citizen of the United States

QUALIFICATIONS

PREFFERED SKILLS AND WORK! EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have the following skills! and experience:
  • Strong oral and written communication - customer focused
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience in the U.S. Legal System is a plus
Experience with various generalized software training platforms, Adult Education, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred; and/or equivalent and relevant education and experience
Knowledge and/or experience working in a legal environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 5 years experience conducting application software training in a classroom environment for a diversified population
  • Minimum of 2 years experience developing project training plans
  • Experience in business systems design and analysis, business operations workflow design and implementation, systems QA testing and/or business systems
  • A bachelor's ! degree (computer science & legal preferred) or equivalent related work experience
Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 Annually

Target Start Date: June 17, 2013 for a long term engagement
